Get Involved
Joining the movement is simple. Click Join Us to receive announcements and our bi-weekly newsletter. Attend one of our virtual Teach-In/Learn-Ins. From there, you can become as active as you want. Volunteer if you have time. Donate if you have the means. Invite your family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors. Join or start a local workgroup. Ultimately, you will help bring guaranteed primary care to everyone in your community!
Although PC4AA is staffed mostly by volunteers, we do still have expenses. Sending newsletters 25 times a year, producing Teach-In/Learn-Ins every two weeks, organizing local chapters, creating and updating State and Local Playbooks, and basic administrative work all cost money. If you believe it’s time to guarantee primary care to everyone in your community, please give what you can. And make it a recurring monthly donation if possible! Every dollar gets us closer to primary care for all Americans.
State and Local Work Groups
The transformation of our healthcare system will start in our communities. State and local workgroups are catalysts for this transformation, identifying barriers and gaps in primary care access, building coalitions, advocating for policies and programs tailored to their unique needs, and demonstrating local successes, which can inspire broader initiatives.
Once you and your neighbors have started a state or local workgroup, our playbooks will serve as valuable resources for you. The playbooks outline practical steps you can use to improve access to advanced primary care, such as building local coalitions, adopting innovative care models, and resolving barriers to care.
By taking action in your community, you’re contributing to a national movement that has the potential to transform lives. Our state and local playbooks will help you to advance the movement to guarantee everyone, everywhere, has access to the primary care they deserve.
