Primary Care for All Americans is excited to announce our next 30-minute, public Zoom event at 8:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024, with special guest speaker, Dr. Jerome Adams.
Dr. Adams, the 20th U.S. Surgeon General, is a licensed anesthesiologist with a master’s degree in public health. Dr. Adams is an expert in communicating science to the lay public and making it relevant to various audiences. Prior to becoming Surgeon General, he ran the Indiana State Department of Health. He is a Presidential Fellow and the Executive Director of Purdue University’s Health Equity Initiatives, as well as a Distinguished Professor of Practice in Purdue’s departments of Pharmacy Practice and Public Health.

Primary Care for All Americans is thrilled to announce our first 30-minute, public Zoom event at 8:30 p.m. on December 5th, 2023. Our special guest speaker, Dr. Lynn P. Blanchette, will share her inspiring story of how affordable, accessible primary care has transformed Scituate, RI.
Dr. Blanchette, a board-certified Community and Public health nurse in practice for almost 40 years, is Associate Professor in the Zvart Onanian School of Nursing at Rhode Island College. Her clinical interests are population focused nursing care, primary health, particularly on expanding the role of nursing in primary care. She is the Vice-President of the Scituate Health Alliance, where she works collaboratively with the Town Nurse to deliver health services to the community in Scituate, Rhode Island.
